Bullish Calls:

Red Hat (RHT): "It reports next week, and the charitable trust has a small position. It acted badly this week. I have to tell you the cloud stocks are still under a cloud. I am still a believer in Red Hat, and think it is a good story."

Depomed (DEPO): "Drug delivery systems are hot. I like these stocks. Anyone who can get it right is going to make a ton of money."

CVR Refining (CVRR): "The refiners are good. That yields 7%."

United Community Banks (UCBI): "It has very good loan growth and is doing better than it was. You are in good shape. It is up a lot, but many banks are up a lot."

Randgold (GOLD): "I think Randgold is right. I love the fact these gold stocks are just now being downgraded. Thanks for nothing."

Cummins (CMI): "For natural gas engines, I would own Cummins."

DryShips (DRYS): "It is an interesting speculation. I would buy some. The Baltic Dry Freight Index is on fire."

Bearish Calls:

EOG Resources (EOG): "CEO Mark Papa said the halcyon days are over. The big money has been made. That sent down the whole group. I'm never going to go against Mr. Papa's views short term."

iShares Silver Trust ETF (SLV): "I'm not a buyer of silver."

Westport Innovations (WPRT), Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE): "Here is the problem ... We had the Westport CEO on many times. I said, "Man, you are not doing it. Why is that?" Management said "Wait, wait, wait." It is the same with Clean Energy Fuels. I bring these guys on the show for information. These are not the kind of stocks my charitable trust owns."
