As you know presently in HSFX 7 there are only a few Dutch Squadrons that I found in the game and many of them are really more appropriate for Pacific Campaigns. Here are the examples that I found in the game.
(DU_NN NL <none>
119SquadronNEI 119 (B) Squadron NEI (RAAF)
120SquadronNEI 120 (F) Squadron NEI (RAAF)
18SquadronNEI 18 (B) Squadron NEI (RAAF)
321Squadronmaritime 321 Squadron (Maritime) (Dutch) RAF
I am finishing the mission planner for the West Front 40 map and in my research in the past I found the historical squadrons. Basically in May 1940 the Dutch air force structure was consisted of 4 segments.
The aircraft of the command were part of the 1st Aviation Regiment, which consisted of two groups. The first group had a reconnaissance squadron (StratVerVA = Strategische Verkenningsvliegtuig Afdeeling) with Fokker C.X single-engined aircraft and a medium bomber squadron (BomVA = Bombardeervliegtuig Afdeeling) with Fokker T.V twin-engined bombers. The 2nd group consisted of four fighter squadrons (JaVA = Jachtvliegtuig Afdeeling) with Fokker D.XXI single-engined fighters (with fixed landing gear) or Fokker G.I twin-engined fighters. The 3rd Air Regiment was primarily elementary flying school, advanced training school, and fighter school. The fourth element the Dutch had a Naval Air Service (Marine Luchtvaart Dienst) group.
Below is the information I was able to get from a few sites and from resources I have in books and stuff. I tried to format it like the regiments in the game.
RNLAF Koninklijke Luchtvaart Militaire (Royal Netherlands Air force) ** or just keep the DU_NN NL <none>
StratVerVA Strategische Verkenningsvliegtuig Afdeeling
BomVA Bombardeervliegtuig Afdeeling
JaVA Jachtvliegtuig Afdeeling
MLD Marine Luchtvaart Dienst

Let me know what you think? Most of this information came from the Battle of France then and now book and cross referenced with difffernet websites. If it is ok the next step would be to get Charlie to add them to the HSFX game via an update.
By the way I have created a discussion thread at the SEOWHQ Community forums for the France 1940 campaign. This will be the area that will be used for development of the campaign. I envision this campaign being run in the SEOWHQ spirit which we can discuss further if I need to elaborate. I will keep you informed and hopefully you can facillitate some interest and active participation in the development of the scenario. This can begin fairly soon now I have a chance to catch my breath now that the mission planner and database for West Front 40 are nearly complete. I am also enjoying the Arma II Iron Front game maybe we can assist 4shades in capturing the data he needs for the maps using the DLC of Iron Front western Normandy invasion. I hope to speak to you soon. "
Denken jullie, geschiedenis fanaten ff mee please??
